Terms of service

Acceptance of Orders

A payment Confirmation email will be sent to you immediately after you place an order.

An Order Acknowledgement will be emailed to you on the next working day after you place an order. This will tell you if the items you have ordered are in stock and give an estimate of when you will receive delivery.

An Order Confirmation will be emailed to you when we are ready to dispatch your order. This will give you a firm delivery date.  At this point your order becomes binding upon us.

We reserve the right to cancel any order prior to emailing and Order Confirmation.

Return Policy

You can return any item to us within 14 days of delivery, whatever the reason. You can return items even if you simply don’t like them.

Items must be returned in a saleable condition and must not have been used unless the item is faulty. Please enclose a copy of your invoice and contact details when returning items. For your protection we strongly advise you to return items using recorded delivery. In the event of an item being faulty, please email returns@luggageplus.co.uk or phone 01424 213795 and we will arrange the return shipping of the item on your behalf.

Cancellation

You may cancel your order at any time prior to dispatch. Please refer to our return policy for orders sent.

You agree that we may cancel your order at anytime prior to dispatch your order. We will confirm this to you via email.

Refunds

Refunds are made within 3 days of receiving the returned items. It may take a further 5 - 10 days for the money to be available on your credit card or bank account.

Faulty Items

All items are inspected before delivery to minimise the risk of you receiving a faulty item. If an item is faulty and you received it less than 14 days ago you simply return it to us for a replacement or refund. If a fault develops after 14 days from delivery you must contact us before returning any items.

Leather is a natural material and some minor imperfections are inevitable.

Shopping Basket

You can view the contents of your shopping basket by clicking the ” Shopping basket” link near the top of the page. You can proceed to the checkout and pay for your items by clicking on the “Pay” button on the right hand side of the page.

Payments

We use Protx to handle payments from our website. As one of the worlds leading bank they are experts in Internet security and we believe they will do a far better job of protecting your credit card details than we could.

International Orders Not taken currently.

Delivery

Orders that can be satisfied from stock are normally dispatched on the next working day after your order is placed. Our courier will usually deliver your order on the next working day.

To track your order online, visit www.fastwaycouriers.co.uk, click on the track and trace icon, and enter the tracing number from your stamp.

If you order something that is not in stock we will email you and advise you a date when we will be able to deliver.

All delivery dates given in your Order Acknowledgement are estimates and you agree that we will not be liable for failure to meet these estimated deilvery dates.

You will be given a firm delivery date when you are sent an Order Confirmation.

Briggs & Riley Delivery

All Briggs & Riley orders will be dispatched directly from their distribution centre. If you have any queries regarding delivery, telephone M&L directly on 01215061900 or fax 01215061909.

We can only deliver to the address where your credit/debit card is registered.

Privacy Policy

We are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully ( in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998)

We collect information about you for 2 reasons: firstly, to process your order and second, to provide you with the best possible service.

We will not email you in the future unless you have given your consent.

We will give you the chance to refuse any marketing email from us or from another trader in the future.

The type of information we will collect about you includes:

  • address
  • phone number
  • email address
  • credit/debit card details

We will never collect sensitive information about you without your explicit consent. The information we hold will be accurate and up to date.

You can check the information that we hold about you by emailing us. If you find any inaccuracies we will delete or correct it promptly.

The personal information which we hold will be held securely in accordance with our internal security policy and the law.

If we intend to transfer your information outside the EEA ( European Economic Area) we will always obtain your consent first.

We may use your technology to track the patterns of behaviour of visitors to our site. This can include using “cookie” which would be stored on your browser. You can usually modify your browser to prevent this happening. The information collected in this way can be used to identify you unless you modify your browser settings.

We promise never to sell or give your personnel details to any third party.

Security

We have a simple but effective approach to security - we do not handle any of your credit card details. We never even see your credit card details.

You can rest assured your credit card details will never be compromised even if our website is hacked or our offices burgled or an employee is dishonest or our computers get infected with a virus we fall victim to one of the many scams criminals use to access to computer systems.

Bulk purchases

We are happy to negotiate a special price for a large order. However we are not wholesalers and do not accept orders from re-sellers.
